We began this project in Central America while visiting on holiday. Once we witnessed the poverty, wages at $2-$3 an hour and food and clothing as expensive as the USA... we did a spontaneous project bringing food packages to poor families.
Bringing emergency supplies, food, clothing, tarps (for rainiy season and dirt floors) to families helps them get through a week or a season.
The reality is families sell of an older child to feed their family for a season... we hope to prevent this tragedy.
